Mary-Jane & Fred was established in January 2020 after being out of work for 7 years due to becoming disabled. I wanted a way to share my love of sewing, give myself a purpose and still be able to balance it with my health and family life.

M-J&F is a true family business as Mary-Jane and Fred were my great grandparents. My Great Nanny taught my Nanny to sew, who then taught my mum, who then taught me. Family is very important to us all and is key to this little business.

​

I am a mother to a wonderful little boy and Wife to Sarah, who is my biggest support and does a lot of work in the background for M-J & F. My mother, Heather, is also a big part of all I do as she amazingly cuts and prepares orders ready for me sew. It is a true team effort.
